Khun Kon Waterfall

Namtok Khun Kon (น้ำตกขุนกรณ์) is the highest waterfall in Chiang Rai with 70 meters in height. Surrounded by lush forest, it’s not only the most beautiful waterfall in the province but also a perfect hiking spot.

To get there: take Highway No. 1211. After 18 kilometers, turn right and proceed for another 11 kilometers via Highway No. 1208. Or travel along Highway No. 1 (Chiang Rai-Phayao route) for about 15 kilometers, where there is a right turn to proceed 17 kilometers further before reaching the National Park’s ranger station. Then, a 30-minute hike to the waterfall, with the distance of 1,400 meters.
