Chiang Rai Clock Tower (หอนาฬิกาเฉลิมพระเกียรติฯ) is located in the traffic circle of Banpha Prakan Road, Suk Sathit Road, and Chet Yot Road. With the support of the Chiang Rai Municipality and designed by Achan Chalermchai Kositpipat– a National Artist – this is one of the most beautiful clock towers in Thailand that was built in 2005 to honour Her Majesty Queen Sirikit. There is a 5-minutes light and sound display at this golden clock tower every night at 07.00 p.m., 08.00 p.m. and 09.00 p.m.
