Wat Pha Tham Nimit It is a Buddhist art painted on the cliff formerly known as Phathamnimit Vipassana Center (Wat Huai Pha Kiang). It was established in 2525 B.E., located at Village No. 12, Tha Wang Thong Sub-district, Mueang District, Phayao Province. The temple is located on a hill surrounded with rocks and rock cliffs, adjacent to the old Phayao city area, which is the boundary line of the old ancient city of Phayao. There is a long cliff along the mountain, which is commonly known as Muang Phaa Yao. In the folklore is called the city of Siharat then became the city of Phayao in these days. To get there, you can use the Pa Daeng road, Huai Bong (Pa Daeng intersection, the route behind Phayao Ram Hospital). If coming from Pa Daeng, drive for about 4 kilometers.
