Chinese Martyrs’ Memorial Museum built to commemorate the 93rd Division of the anti-communist Kuomintang (KMT), who in 1971 assisted the Thai Government combat operation against Communist insurgents in Doi Luang, Doi Yao, and Doi Pha Mon of Chiang Rai Province, as well as, in Khao Ya of Phetchabun Province in 1981. A number of these soldiers were killed, wounded, and crippled.
The Museum exhibits the history of their struggle and settlements, along with the development of the Mae Salong community. Visitors will also enjoy the library’s collection of historical information and valuable photos.
